PEM deliveries: Only deliveries made directly by PEM Fixtures using PEM's own truck or trailer include hand unloading by PEM. Panels are placed in an accessible, ground-level curbside area beside the vehicle. PEM does not carry panels into buildings, rooms or installation areas, or up stairs.
Hired freight deliveries: For deliveries made by an independent or subcontracted freight carrier, the buyer is responsible for unloading. The buyer must provide a suitable loading dock, forklift or other carrier-approved equipment, or their own unloading crew. Buyer-provided hand unloading requires the carrier's approval of the crew, method and unloading time before dispatch. Neither PEM nor the freight driver provides unloading for hired freight. The checkout delivery option identifies the panel quantity at which buyer-unloaded freight applies.
Unloading time and delay charges: For hired freight, customers must be ready at the scheduled delivery time and complete unloading within two hours of the carrier's arrival within the agreed delivery window and readiness to unload. Any different carrier time allowance will be disclosed and agreed before dispatch. The buyer is responsible for the carrier's actual detention (waiting-time) charges caused by buyer-related delays beyond that allowance. The applicable fee schedule will be confirmed before dispatch.
PEM and hired freight deliveries are curbside only. Inside delivery, stairs, installation and carrying panels to another location on the property are not included. The delivery address must have safe access for the assigned vehicle and a clear unloading area. We will coordinate the delivery appointment and confirm the unloading arrangements before dispatch. Alaska and Hawaii freight: This delivery option uses a hired carrier and covers curbside delivery only to addresses accessible to the assigned freight truck. The buyer must arrange unloading as described above. Remote or off-road destinations requiring air, charter, or special onward transport are not included; contact us before ordering for those destinations. We will confirm carrier access and the transit estimate before dispatch. If the selected delivery service cannot reach your address, we will offer an alternative for your approval or cancel and refund the order. Ocean and onward transport time is additional to production. UPS remains available separately wherever a rate is offered at checkout.
Free pickup is available at 90 Crestwood Drive, Shirley, NY 11967, by appointment after production. We will email you when your order is ready and arrange a pickup appointment. Please do not arrive before receiving confirmation. Please bring a vehicle suitable for transporting 96-inch panels.
Prefer a delivery quote before paying? Choose Freight Quote in the website footer and send your panel core, finish, quantity, complete delivery address and access details. A quote request is not an order and takes no payment. After you approve the quote, we will arrange payment for the products, delivery and applicable tax. For immediate checkout, select one of the delivery options shown for your address, or free pickup.
If we cannot dispatch within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with an updated estimate and offer the option to agree to the delay or cancel for a refund.
All panel sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. Damaged or incorrect orders are handled as described below. This policy does not limit rights or remedies required by applicable law. You may request a written copy of our return policy by emailing tristenpem@outlook.com.
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, email tristenpem@outlook.com with your order number and photos of the product, packaging and shipping label. Keep the packaging and contact us before installing or returning the affected panel. P.E.M. will work with you to correct the issue and provide any necessary return instructions. Please do not send products back without return instructions. P.E.M. handles carrier claims separately; you do not need to file a carrier claim to ask us to resolve a damaged or incorrect order.
